Survey Competition

Yes its time to check under that mattress for those long lost surveys.

You may just have that winner.

This year Jonathan Ravens from Wellington is judging the competition.

There is only one rule and that is those surveys must be on hard copy. This is so that surveys may be viewed at the AGM meeting. Please post or courier your entry to:

Literary Competition

The rules are very simple:

Normally only articles that have appeared in a “Bulletin” are accepted BUT as there hasn’t been a Bulletin this year we are accepting articles that have been included in the Tomo Times also.

I encourage everyone to have a go.

There is still a Tomo Times due out before the cut off date of 9^th October.
So send in your article to Bronwyn for inclusion

NZSS Annual Grant

Now is the time to put pen to paper and apply for that Annual Grant. Last year it went to the Fiordland expedition.

Annual Grant

Each year the Society makes available to members a cash grant to assist with a publication, gear purchase, expedition or other caving related activity approved by the Council. All applications for an Annual Grant must be in writing (e-mail is sufficient) and be received by the NZSS Secretary prior to the October Council meeting i.e. the Council meeting held on the day of the Annual General Meeting.

The amount of money available this year is $500.
